Senior Graphic Designer
We are looking for an outstanding Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing Sutherland studio in a full-time role.
The role & responsibilities:
Support the Creative Director to deliver print and digital assets for a household name.
Be the go-to person for the brand supported by a second designer, copywriter, and account manager you’ll develop, artwork and traffic assets as required.
Assets include: EDMs, paid social ads, sales collateral, packaging, retail POS, mock-ups and final art.
Follow brand guidelines, ensure consistency, suggest and develop new ideas.
Meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and high-quality work.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Armed with a knock-out portfolio demonstrating skills that showcase your understanding of the formula of good design across packaging and social paid ad assets.
Up to date with current design trends and technology standards across both print and digital.
Passionate about pushing the boundaries of design and appreciates a well-crafted brand guideline and respects its detail.
Brings practical knowledge and know-how to make any asset sing.
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
Able to jump from conceptual design work to more technical work without batting an eye.
Great at time management and eager to support the design studio.
Optimistic, sunny by nature and keen to be part of our great studio culture.
Knowledgeable in packaging with food experience an advantage.
Aware of process to prioritise and balance workflow
Required skills & experience:
Bachelor's degree or associated qualification in Graphic Design or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite a must – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD.
Retouching to a high level/able to create mock-ups – rendering experience an advantage.
Excellent final art skills across digital and print.
Strong conceptual thinking, layout, typography and design skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
Knowledge of HTML5 an advantage.
